Two Loves and Other Thoughts

"There can only be two loves," wrote Augustine, "the love of God unto the exclusion of self, or the love of self unto the forgetfulness and denial of God."

Wow! I am amazed at how I waiver between the two. And, yet, I totally agree. It's either Him or me and too often it's me.
